| 160 | | Wednesday August 4, 2010 - 09:39am | Dave and Marsha..Gail and I would like to thank you very much for being such gracious hosts this past Saturday evening (7/31). It was like stepping back into time and reliving a past gone by. You have done an awesome job in recreating the Taylor family home; as Gail and I were sitting in the living room it was like being on the set of the TV show. I kept waiting for Andy or Barney to walk through the front door. I have been an Andy Griffith fanatic since I started watching the show back in the early 1960's, when it was on live and 50 years later I still watch the reruns or the DVD's I have at home. "The Andy Griffith Show", "The Donna Reed Show" and "Father Knows Best"...some of the best television you will ever see. So glad they are all on DVD now. Gail and I are coming back in December to experience your 1950's Christmas and are really looking forward to our return. The courthouse you have recreated is also an awesome recreation and I look forward to seeing that completed soon. Thanks again for your gracious hospitality and also to Ellie Walker - she also made us feel right at home. Steve & Gail Gebhardt Janesville, WI

| 159 | | Saturday July 31, 2010 - 11:10am | We stayed at the Andy house on July 17, 2010. Our time there was wonderful. Everything was as advertised and better. From the accommodations to the food to the little doggie, we couldn't ask for more. We tell EVERYONE about this fine place. Also, if one is a baseball fan, Marsha will hook you up with Chuck Clark, one of the nicest, most knowledgeable collectors of memorabilia with whom I've ever had the pleasure to share time. We WILL return to the Andy Taylor home!

| 157 | | Wednesday July 7, 2010 - 09:05pm | Marsha and Dave, Thanks so much for your wonderful hospitality yesterday and this morning. Your inn is just so wonderful; I had seen pictures, but I was unprepared for walking in the door and it just hitting me. For a true fan, it literally takes your breath away! Our stay was truly the high spot of our trip, and one I will never forget. I want to come back! You have done such an excellent job at reproducing the set and making it a home. I highly recommend it to anyone! We also enjoyed playing with the lovely Miss Ellie Walker. I am so finding her a Razorback golf ball when I get home! Love to you and yours, Janet and Alex PS- thanks for the wonderful birthday present!

| 156 | | Tuesday July 6, 2010 - 04:02pm | Found your re-creation of the Taylor Home fascinating! Being a "Mayberry" fan, I hope to stay at your Inn if I ever get to Wisconsin! One curious note, though, why did you spell Aunt Bea...Aunt BEE?!

| 155 | | Tuesday June 29, 2010 - 08:16pm | Dear Marsha, we just want you to know how very much we enjoyed our stay with you. You and Rosemary---and Miss Ellie!---made us feel so welcome and relaxed. The house is beautiful and absolutely immaculate. We were so impressed with all of the attention to detail and thoughtfulness you have put into every item. I wish we could have spent more time with you, but circumstances beyond your control and our time schedule kind of made chat time a bit difficult. If we ever get the opportunity to pass through Wisconsin again, we will definitely try to see you girls. And, if you ever decide to come and visit us hillbillies, why we would be as good to you as we know how to be! Best wishes to you and yours.

Dave & Marsha have done a fantastic job of recreating the Taylor home conplete with Wally's Filling Station out back and the Courthouse in the basement. This is like stepping into the real home of Andy. Opie & Aunt Bee. We highly recommend a stay at this beautiful home. I know, like us, you'll feel welcome and right at home.
